Timbakote Durashield - Interior Timber Finish

Timbakote Durashield Data Sheet

Timbakote Durashield is a tough acrylic enamel coating designed for internal timber panelling and trim. Durashield gives excellent adhesion to all timber with a high abrasion resistant surface, helps resist bonding of coated surfaces and does not yellow. Durashield can be tinted to the full Timbakote colour range and is available in an attractive satin finish.

Timbakote Durashield is also environmentally friendly, non toxic, non-hazardous and non-flammable.

Timbakote Durashield is an ideal coating for internal timber surfaces where a natural timber finish is required.

Timbakote Interior Timber Stain, Cedar Sarking
New Timber should be clean and dry, free of any loose fibres and any stains, stencils or other marks should be removed.

All sharp edges of timber must be sanded to create a rounded edge for better adhesion. All nail holes and minor defects should be filled with a suitable timber filler tinted to the same colour as the timber substrate.

Previously oiled or stained timber, remove all poor adhering coatings, sand and wash down with a sugar soap wash, then rinse. Check adhesion
