Fill all nail holes and minor defects with a suitable Timber filler tinted to the same colour as the timber substrate.
It is important to trial a small area first to achieve the correct application technique & the desired finish.
Apply 2 coats of Timbakote Lockwood Blond with a good quality paintbrush. Lay off to achieve an even appearance. Always keep a wet edge to avoid lap marking. Sand lightly between coats and avoid over brushing. For the best result lay off the product along the grain.
If the timber colour or texture is uneven in appearance or requires heavy sanding, it is recommended to apply 1 coat of Timbakote Durashield tinted to the same colour as the timber substrate to provide a more consistent surface prior to applying the Timbakote Lockwood Blond.
